ONEPOTO LAKE : Onepoto Domain is situated on the north shore of Auckland across the Harbour Bridge and began life more than 30,000 years ago in a massive volcanic eruption, leaving a spectacular crater which today acts as a magnificent natural sports venue and park. Covering 26 hectares, it comprises sports fields, a playground, a stream and lake plus native bush areas. Onepoto Domain has become Auckland’s premier model sail boat site..The park is also highly valued for the casual recreation opportunities it provides, including a children’s adventure playground, walkways, barbecue, picnicking spots and ‘learn to cycle paths’.

WEST HAVEN MARINA / AMERICAN VILLAGE: Established in the 1940’s in downtown Auckland, Westhaven Marina is one of the largest marinas in the southern hemisphere. Hobson West Marina is a unique downtown marina with safe, secure moorings and deep water access. Visitors can explore New Zealand’s rich maritime history at Voyager Maritime Museum, cruise the harbour on a charter yacht, view the yachts berthed in the harbourand enjoy the world class hospitality at the many bars and restaurants that line the water’s edge.

MISSION BAY BEACH: Mission Bay is a beachfront esplanade with vast varieties of eateries and activities. It is located seven kilometers away from main city center. It covers an area of 266 acres (1.08 km2), about three quarter of which consists of low hills, surrounding the remaining quarter, which slopes down to the sea. Just a scenic 15 minute drive along Tamaki Drive, Mission Bay is the most accessible urban beach from downtown Auckland – and one of the region’s most popular.
